Cherub Wimberley

Cherub Ann Wimberley, age 73 of McKenzie, TN, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She retired after a long career as a truck driver.  She loved fishing and caring for and rehabbing wild animals.

Cherub was born May 7, 1946, in Las Vegas, NV, to the late William H. Gulow and the late Dorothy Ann Abrams Gulow.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Mary) Norton of Paris, TN; two sisters, Mary Gonzalez of Georgia and Carol Smith of Georgia; one brother, Lanny Gulow of Oklahoma; one half-brother, Russell West; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated.  A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at 11:00 am at Olive Branch Cemetery, Highway 140, Cottage Grove, TN 38224, with Brian Wimberley officiating.

Burial of cremains will follow the graveside memorial service in Olive Branch Cemetery.
