Charlotte Diane Scott Chilcutt

Charlotte Diane Scott Chilcutt, age 71 of Hanson, KY, formerly of Henry County, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

She was a longtime social worker with Pennyrile Mental Health Center in Kentucky.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, and writing.  Charlotte loved organization and helping people.  She was a member of Pennyrile Church of Christ in Madisonville, KY.

Charlotte was born February 16, 1951, in Huntingdon, TN, to the late Margie Parish Scott and Robert Priestly Scott, who survives, of Puryear, TN.

She was married January 7, 1972, to Robert Warren Chilcutt, who survives, of Madisonville, KY.

Along with her husband and father, she is also survived by one daughter, Sarah (Joey) Hampton of Paris; one son, Chris (Gloria) Chilcutt of Madisonville, KY; one sister, Sandra (William) Smith of Possum Trot, KY; two brothers, Joe Scott of Murray, KY, and Mark (Elizabeth) Scott of Buchanan, TN; and four grandchildren, Anna Hampton, Will Hampton, Walker Chilcutt, and Naomi Chilcutt.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Ronnie Stubblefield officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will Doug Durst, Joey Hampton, Chad Garland, William Smith, Mark Scott, and Chris Chilcutt.  Named as honorary pallbearers are Priestly Scott, Joe Scott, Walker Chilcutt, and Will Hampton.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
