Charles Wilson

Charles Elvin Wilson, age 89, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Thursday, November  7, 2013, at Residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.

He was  Married May 12, 1946 to Esthalene Brown Wilson, she died November 24, 2010.

Charles Graduated from Springville High School and attended Austin Peay College in Clarksville, TN. He was a Member of Whitlock Church of Christ, and a WW II Army veteran.   He Retired with 25 years at DuPont Plant in New Johnsonville, TN.  He was also a farmer.   He loved hunting, fishing, spending the winter's in Florida and enjoying his very large family of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Raleigh Wilson and the late Eunice  Wilson.

He is survived by his Five Daughters, Melanie (Danny) Guinn of Paris, Tenn., Beth (Ricky) Weatherford of Buchanan, Tenn., Jan (Roy) Sharp of Henderson, Tenn., Pat (Kenneth) Thurmond of Mayfield, Ky., Peggy (Neil) Chittam of Athens, Ala.; Two Sons, Bruce (Lisa) Wilson of Paris, Tenn., Charles A.  "Chuck" Wilson of Cottage Grove, Tenn.; Two Brothers, Garland (Lottie) Wilson of Lebanon, Tenn., Claytus (Helen) Wilson of Paris, Tenn.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. , Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, November  9, 2013 and after 12:00 PM  Sunday, November 10, 2013.   The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:30 PM Sunday, November 10, 2013.

Roy Sharp will  officiate.  Interment will be in Walker Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
