Charles Nolan McCutcheon, age 83, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, August 24, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

He graduated in 1950 from Grove High School.    Charles married February 11, 1978 to Joy Cathryn Summerford McCutcheon and she survives.     He was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church and attended Temple Baptist Church.    He was a life member of the Henry Co. Rescue Squad and a Member for over 35 years of the Paris Masonic Lodge 108 F&AM.    He was also a member for about 15 years of the Paris Lions Club.   Charles was manager of the Sherwin Williams Co. for 14 years and then worked fulltime as an E.M.T. for 14 years with the Henry County Ambulance Service and then part time for some time.

He was born August 5, 1932 in Paris, TN to the late George Thomas McCutcheon Sr. and the late Ada Gladys McCuiston McCutcheon.

Besides his wife Joy, he is also survived by his One Son,  David (Cheryl) McCutcheon of Ringgold, Ga;  Two Grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Ketron of Ringgold, GA,  Casey (Kim) McCutcheon of Germantown, TN;  One Great Grandchild,  Lukas Ketron of Ringgold, GA

Besides his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by a Sister, Virginia Smith;  Brothers, Earon B. McCutcheon, Daron E. McCutcheon, and George T. McCutcheon Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, August 25, 2015 and from 1 – 2 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015.    The  Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

Craig Peevyhouse will officiate.    Pallbearers will be Casey McCutcheon, Chris Ketron, Max Houston, Gary “Bo” Sinclair, Garrett Sinclair, and Larry French.    Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Copeland and Mike Shankle.

Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
