He was married Dec 21, 1963 to Carolyn K. Nichols Lampkins and she survives. Charles was a self- employed plumber and electrician for many years. He enjoyed raising cattle.
He was born October 18, 1942 in Paris, TN to the late Hayden Lampkins and the late Willie Mae Morris Lampkins.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his One Daughter, Lisa Bradshaw & Special Friend Kacy Watkins of Cottage Grove, Tenn; One Son, David (Maggie) Lampkins of Cottage Grove, Tenn; Four Sisters, Nancy Mitchell of Paris, Tenn, Betty Stephenson of Paris, Tenn, Diane Strahan of Michigan, Jan Lampkins of Dickson, Tenn; Grandchildren, Brandi (John) Brown of Paris, TN, Joey (Kristen) Lampkins
of Cottage Grove, TN, and Emily Lampkins of Cottage Grove, TN; Great Grandchildren, Averie Brown and James Brown.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. No visitation is planned. There will be a Graveside Service at Walker Cemetery at 1:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2015.
Dale Gallimore will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dennis Bush, Pinky Williams, Leon Bumpas, Jim Pennington, David Lampkins, and Joey Lampkins.
Interment will be at Walker Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
