Carol Suter, age 74 of Paris, died Friday, February 21, 2020, at her residence.
She worked several years in the finishing department at Markel Lighting Company. She also was a former truck driver with her husband. Carol was a Christian by faith and was a former Sunday school teacher at Paris Community Bible Church.
Carol was born July 13, 1945, in Cornettsville, KY, to the late Clay Grace and the late Nancy Spurlock Grace.
She was married April 9, 1982, to Earl Suter, who preceded her in death on January 14, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter, Ginger (Billy) Lowe of Paris; four sisters, Margaret Brasher of Viper, KY, Alberta Atkins of Morristown, Zelma Presley of Lexington, KY, Ima Nell (Earsel) Caudill of Batesville, IN; two brothers, Charles (Rose) Grace of Lakeland, FL, and Claude Grace of Indiana; five grandchildren, Miranda Suter, Billy Lowe, Vanessa Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, and Kayla Lowe; two great grandchildren, Jude Suter and Adalae Suter; and special niece, Carol (Danny) Carter of Paris.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers, Tommy Grace, Bobby Grace, Ronnie Grace, Randy Grace, and Raymond Grace; and one grandchild, Shane Suter.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, Danny Carter, Brian Ball, Clint Graff, and Trent Ball. Named as an honorary pallbearer is Jackson Ball.
Burial will be in Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
