Carlos O. Ward

Carlos O. Ward, age 80 of McKenzie, TN, died Sunday January 14, 2018 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and riding his motorcycle.  He was Baptist in belief.

Carlos was born May 31, 1937, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late Dewey P. Ward and the late Bessie Berry Ward.

He was married January 18, 1958, to Lindy May Dunn Ward, who preceded him in death on February 13, 2010.

He is survived by three sisters, Carolyn Ward of Paris, TN, Doris Ward of Paris, TN, and Joy (Bob) Webb of Springville, TN; one brother, Odell Ward of Paris, TN; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Ward, Perry Ward, L.M. Ward, and Jerry Ward; and two sisters, Mava Brown and Bertha Klein.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service to begin at 3:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Richard “Soup” Raymer officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jack McDonald, Randy Miller, Michael Raymer, Mikey Raymer, Robert Ferrell and Jason Wade.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
