Carlene Norton

Mary Carlene Atwood Norton entered eternity on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her home in Stone Mountain, GA.  Born October 25, 1940 in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Bernice Byrd Atwood.

Carlene was a jack of all trades. She was a beautician, worked as a medical assistant, and kept birds, cats and loved all animals. She enjoyed cooking and being at home, and was a strong, tough woman.

Carlene is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Kent Norton of Stone Mountain, GA (formerly of Paris, TN), sons Stephen (Teresa) Page and Michael (Tracey Jackson) Page, both of Paris, TN, daughter Lori Ann Page of Snellville, GA, grandsons Joshua (Tara) Page of Camden, TN, Christopher Page of Paris, TN, and great grandchildren, Spencer Page, Xoey Page and Cooper Page. Carlene was predeceased by her great grandson Gunner Page.

Also left to cherish her memory are sisters, Shirley Evans of Whitlock, TN, Linda (Robert) Ball of Paris, TN, brother Robert Eldridge (Tamara Nanney) of Paris, TN, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN where visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2017 , from 1-4 p.m. A memorial service will follow, with burial following at Bevil Cemetery on Old McKenzie Highway in Paris, TN.
