Carl Blake Davis

Carl Blake Davis, age 81 of Mansfield, TN, died Friday, March 11, 2022, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden, TN.

He formerly worked as a security guard in St. Louis for many years, then retired from Hollingsworth Sawmill in Mansfield, TN.  Carl attended Mansfield Academy growing up as a child.  He enjoyed trapping, hunting, and fishing.

Carl was born March 10, 1941, to the late Isaac Fields Davis and the late Sarah Gladys Hastings Davis.

He is survived by one daughter, Angella (Randy) Hopper of Toone, TN; one son, Dean (Lisa) Davis of Greenfield, TN; one sister, Bessie Ruth Ashby of Mansfield, TN; four grandchildren, Jonathan Hopper, Stephanie Hopper, David Dean (Summer) Davis, and Nicole Haggard; and four great grandchildren, Lucas Hopper, Julia Hopper, Nevaeh Davis, and Ethan Haggard Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Kenneth Davis.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Monday, March 14, 2022, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Monday, March 14, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Mansfield, TN.
