Carla Jo Upchurch

Carla Jo Upchurch, age 74 of Buchanan, TN, died Monday, October 30, 2017, at her residence in Buchanan, TN.
She was the former owner and operator of Sugar & Spice Bakery in Paris, TN. Cooking was her passion and she personally wrote a cookbook titled, Follow Me to Carla’s Kitchen . She was an advisor for and helped start Junior Achievement in Henry County. She was a Lutheran.
Carla was born November 14, 1942, in Aurora, IL, to the late Carl Ernest Upchurch and the late Josetta Irene Hirth Upchurch.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Lee Wollenweber Paczek of Nashville, TN; one son, Robert Wollenweber of Buchanan, TN; two brothers, Michael (Pamela) Upchurch of Rockford, IL, and Carl E. Upchurch of Maryland; and two grandchildren, Austin Collins and Brandon Cherry.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Stella Hogan; three brothers, Bill Upchurch, Dennis Upchurch, and Dale Upchurch; and one grandson, Eric Hunter.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life service to be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Quality Inn Skyvue Room at 1510 East Wood Street in Paris, TN.
