Byron Austin Johnson

Byron Austin Johnson, age 20 of Como, TN, died Monday, July 29, 2019, in Paris, TN.

He worked for SNS Construction in Trezevant, TN.  Byron was a member of West Wood Pentecostal Church of God in Paris.  He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, on back roads, and collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.

He was born April 10, 1999, in Paris, TN, to Angie Lee Patton, who survives, of Paris, TN, and Kendrick (Latasha) Johnson, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his mother, father, and stepmother, he is survived by his girlfriend, Faith Allen of Como, TN; one daughter, Vivian Mattingly; three sisters, Keyona Johnson, Breanna Johnson, and Kaleah Bomar; seven brothers, Rhykeem Johnson, Anthony Arredono, Kendrick Johnson, Jr., Dominic Johnson, Kennen Bomar, Brayden Johnson, and Kayden Johnson of Paris, TN; one grandmother, Dorothy (Darnell) Tharpe of Paris, TN; one grandfather, Kenneth (Charlene) Johnson of Columbus, OH; one nephew, Princeton Johnson; and one stepbrother, Daylan Foulks of Paris, TN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna & Charles Lee.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 4:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 401 Irvine Street, Paris, TN 38242.

Cremation will follow the service.
