Brien Lee Hawks

Brien Lee Hawks, age 42 of McKenzie, TN, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at his residence.

He was raised in Humboldt, TN.  Brien loved his children and grandchildren, but his wife, Mindy, was his world.  He was an avid Vol fan and always wore his orange colors in support of the Vols.  Brien loved music and enjoyed writing music.

Brien was born July 23, 1978, in Jackson, TN, to the late Harold Lee Hawks and the late Mary Lucrecia McCall Coker.

He was married October 5, 2007, to Mindy Lou Ruddell Hawks, who survives, of McKenzie, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by three children, Jackson Ruddell of Milan, TN, Hunter Suratt of North Augusta, SC, and Micaella Suratt of North Augusta, SC; three brothers; one sister; and two grandchildren, Hudson Suratt of North August, SC, and Mason Ruddell of Henry, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 5, 2020, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with a time of family reflection and music service to begin at 3:30 pm.

Cremation will follow the service.
