Brenda Sue Dale

Sue Dale, age 86 of Murray, KY, formerly of Puryear, TN, died Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was the former co-owner of Dale Brothers Cars in Puryear for 59 years with her husband Max.  She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ ant led a weekly devotional at Brookdale Senior Living in Murray.

Sue was born February 13, 1935 in Paris, TN to the late Taylor Owen and the late Ruby Smith Owen.

She was married on July 2, 1960 to Max Dale who preceded her in death on December 28, 2011.

Survivors include her sister, Anna L. (Jesse) Hopkins of Paris, TN; sister-in-law, Juanita Owen of Paris, TN; two nieces, Anissa Underwood, and Lori Lemonds; one nephew, Mike Hopkins; and one cousin, Garry Smith.

Besides her husband and parents, Sue was preceded in death by one brother, Rex Owen; and one brother-in-law, J.T. Dale.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.   Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 10 am – 1 pm.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with John Dale officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don Durst, Roland Alexander, Marty Futrell, Devin Parker, Garry Smith, Chad Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Lemonds, Wesley Lemonds, and Mike Hopkins.

Burial will follow in Puryear City Cemetery, in Puryear, TN.
