Bob D. Marshall, age 79, of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at his residence in Paris, TN.
Bob was a self-employed carpenter for many years, and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, and Atlanta Braves baseball.
Bob was born October 14, 1937, in Church Hill, TN, to the late Venoy Marshall and the late Martha Breeding Marshall.
He was married May of 1975 to Carolyn Fay Smith Marshall, who preceded him in death on March 10, 1999.
He is survived by one son, Kevin D. Marshall and fiancé Melissa Dolliver of Mansfield, TN; one sister, Nancy Ann (Roy) Arnold of Puryear, TN; two grandchildren, Peyton Marshall and Austin Marshall.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vaughn Marshall and Howard Marshall.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday June 3, 2017, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm., with the funeral service at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Bro. Johnny Farmer officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton Marshall, Austin Marshall, David Marshall, Mike Marshall, David Smith and Jason Smith.
Burial will follow in Bevil Cemetery in Paris, TN.
