Bobby Earl Sharp, Sr.

Bobby Earl Sharp, Sr., age 90 of Buchanan, TN, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his daughter’s residence in Buchanan.

Mr. Sharp worked for Indiana Bell as a telephone repair man before he retired. He was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved his family.

Bobby was born June 10, 1928, to the late Eddie Albert Sharp and the late Pearline Daufain Sharp.

He was married July 16, 1948, to Sammie Roberta Jones Sharp, who preceded him in death on April 13, 2012.

He is survived by one daughter, Sheryl (Kent) Moody of Buchanan, TN; three sons, Bobby (Cynthia) Sharp, Jr., of San Antonio, TX, Steven (Diana) Sharp of Wadesville, IN, and Phillip (Susan) Sharp of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Betty June Kellow of Daleville, IN; three brothers, Don (Betty) Sharp of Murfreesboro, TN, Richard Sharp of Buchanan, TN, and David Sharp of Vevay, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Elizabeth Sharp; one sister, Marcia Reed; and one grandchild, Tamicka Sharp-Prieto.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue Friday, August 3, 2018 after 1:00 pm. His Funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Randy Stephens officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

Interment will be in New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
