Bobbie Jean Walker

Bobbie Jean Walker, age 80 of Puryear, TN, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her residence.

She retired from Salant & Salant in Paris after 30 years.  Bobbie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and taking care of everyone.

Bobbie was born December 2, 1941, in Jackson, MS, to the late R.L. Wade and the late Lorene Walker Wade.

She was married March 15, 1957, to Harry Lee Walker, who survives, of Puryear, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three sons, Robert Lee Walker of Paris, John David Walker of Puryear, TN, and James Mark (Marsha) Walker of McKenzie, TN; one brother, Jimmy Wade of Mixie, TN; two half-brothers, Ricky Wade of Como, TN, and John Wade of Perryville, MO; two step brothers, Raymond Finch of McKenzie, TN, and Donald Finch of Mixie, TN; eight grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Harry Gene Walker; one half-brother, Randy Wade; and one grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Roger Wallace officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Leon Murray, Nathan Jordan, Joseph Walker, Cody Walker, Dallas Wade, and Ronnie Wade.

Burial will be in Mixie Cemetery in Mixie, TN.
