Roberta “Bobbie” Jean Naugle, 86, of Paris went peacefully Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at her home in Paris.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday October 1, 2013 at First Christian Church in Paris.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday with pastor Bruce Naugle officiating and the Rev. Cory Glover assisting.
She was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles H. Smith and Christine Feebeck Smith.
Bobbie Jean was married on April 19, 1949, to Paul J. Naugle, who survives.
She was a longtime member of First Christian Church. She also belonged to several bridge clubs in Paris. In addition to bridge, Bobbie Jean enjoyed playing golf.
The family would like to thank Henry County Hospice for the dedication and compassion shown to all of us this past month. We would especially like to express appreciation to home health care workers Dewilla (Susie) Porter and her daughter, Genie (Nicki) McCurry, who showed genuine love and caring to Bobbie Jean and Paul.
In addition to her husband, Bobbie Jean leaves one daughter: Nancy Patterson of Stevensville, Mich.; two sons: Bruce Alan (Marion) Naugle of Pittsville, Wis., and Craig Robert (Kay Paige) Naugle of Paris; one sister: Marilyn Stockwell of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
