Bj Fletcher

BJ Fletcher, age 89, of Paris, TN, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Henry County Medical Center.

He married Robbie Faye Maddox Fletcher December 28, 1949, who died February 26, 2014.

Mr. Fletcher was a retired Electrician from Midland Brake, where he worked in the Maintenance Department. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran and a member of the VFW. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and mowing his yard.

Born September 22, 1928, in Cottage Grove, TN, he was the son of the late Marvin Doy Fletcher and the late Lorene Prince Fletcher.

Survivors include: a daughter: Donna (Randy) Rushing of Jackson, TN; a granddaughter: Wendy (Kirk) Wratten of Henry, TN; and two great grandchildren: Alexia Wratten and Rachel Wratten.

Additional survivors include three step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a sister: Linda Sue Moore and a brother: Clarence Fletcher.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday, March 26, 2018, from 4-7 PM and continue on Tuesday March 27, 2018, from 1 to 3 PM. The funeral service will be held Tuesday March 27, 2018 at 3 PM in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Darren Fletcher officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Friends and family with serve as Pallbearers. Jerry Olive will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
