Billy Wheatley

Billy George Wheatley, age 66, of Camden, Tenn., died Thursday, July  3, 2014, at His residence in Camden, Tenn.

He was married to Frances Carolyn Oliver Wheatley, and she survives.   He was a member of Camden Church of Christ and retired after 35 years from State of TN as maintenance worker and conservationist at Paris Landing Golf Course.   He was also a cattle farmer for several years.

Billy was born December 27, 1947 in Camden, TN to the late Delmer Wheatley and the late Alma Turner  Wheatley.

Besides his wife, Billy is also survived by his  Two Daughters,  Jeanna (Barry) Yates of Dickson, Tenn,  Kerri (Jerry) Vanderpool of Paris, Tenn,  Two Brothers,   James Wheatley of Mississippi,  Dennis Wheatley of Camden, Tenn,  Grandchildren, Austin Yates, Ethan Yates, Trey Vanderpool, Rylee Jean Vanderpool, and Jackson Vanderpool.

Billy was also preceded in death by a sister, Sophie Cuthbertson;  and Grandchildren, Baron Oliver Yates and DaLeynie Beth Vanderpool.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Friday, July  4, 2014 and after 10 am Saturday, July  5, 2014.   The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, July  5, 2014.

Roger Banks will officiate.

Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.
