Billy Joe Harding, age 80, of Puryear, Tenn., died Saturday, September 19, 2015, in Murray, Ky. He was married September 8, 1970, to Ethie Beatrice Harding who died May 17, 2008. He was a member of Bell City Baptist Church in Farmington, KY, retired from Holley Carburetor Plant and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He was the son of the late Utley Harding and the late Ethel Simpson Harding.
He is survived by his Daughters: Kathy Harding (George) Ligon of Murray, KY, Step daughters: Lisha Carol Paschall and Patricia Ann Wilkerson both of Jackson, Tenn. Granddaughter: Kaylee Grace (Dustin) Wilson; Four Step Grandchildren: Misty Paschall, Justin Wilkerson, Jamie Paschall, Christopher Wilkerson. A great grandchild and five step grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, Billy was also preceded in death by four brothers: Albert Franklin Harding, James Boyd Harding, Hugh Harding and Robert Glen Harding.
Pallbearers to serve are: Jeff Clark, Bobby Veazey, Paul Caldwell, Perry McClain, Mike Schroader, Corey Baucum, Ernie Forrester and Mark Prather.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015. A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with Brett Miles officiating with interment to follow.
