Billie Reid

Billie Faye Reid, 82, of Paris, died Monday, August 3, 2015, at her home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Bobby Campbell and Jack Thacker will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until time for the service Friday at the funeral home.

Reid was born March 9, 1933 in Scotts Hill to the late Samuel Leroy and Frances Irene Stanfill McCage.

She married the late Bernie “Bud” Reid on June 7, 1950. He died June 23, 2007. She was a member of Central Point Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Dale (Elaine) Reid of Paris; a daughter, Susan Diane Lee of Chicago; six grandchildren: Hollie (Chris) Scott of Paris, Scott (Julie), John Joseph, and Jason (Jessica) Lee all of Chicago, Forest (Becca) and Landon (Kylee) Blakesley, both of Waterloo, Iowa; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and an aunt, Eileen Koup of Paris.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Donna and Patricia Rice, and Peggy Ledbetter.
