Beverly Jean Waddell

Beverly Jean Waddell, age 81 of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her residence.

She formerly worked as a nurse at Henry County Medical Center many years ago.  Beverly enjoyed reading, online shopping, and loved jewelry.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Beverly was born July 12, 1942, in Marshalltown, IA, to the late Robert Zednichek and the late Dorothy Mae Calderwood Zednichek.

She was married July 16, 1966, to Gary W. Waddell, who preceded her in death.  

She is survived by two sons, Mike Waddell of Puryear, TN, and Billy Waddell (Netha Waggoner) of Puryear, TN; one sister, Carol Atkins of Jeffersonville, IN; two brothers, Larry Zednichek of Conrad, IA, and Jimmy Zednichek of Marshalltown, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Memorial visitation will be Saturday April 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
