Beve Lou Goza

Beve Lou Goza, age 96 of Buchanan, TN, went to meet her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

She worked for many years in cosmetology as a hairdresser in Memphis, TN. Beve Lou enjoyed working in the yard and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, TN.

Beve Lou was born January 22, 1928, in Ravenden Springs, AR, to the late Gus Edward Guntharp and the late Nettie Rose Griffith Guntharp.

She was married to Leonard Junior Goza, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Gwyn (Don) Bentley of Buchanan, TN; two grandchildren, Jason Bivens and Jarrod Bivens; five great grandchildren, Tori Bivens, Tyler Bivens, Joshua Bivens, Ryan Bivens, and Eli Bivens; and one great-great grandchild, Skailar.

In addition to her parents & husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sheila Bivens; three sisters, Leota Hardin, Hazel Massey, and Betty Wallis; and four brothers, Millard Guntharp, H.J. Guntharp, Melvin Guntharp, and Paul Guntharp.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Swafford of Bellevue Baptist Church officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Bivens, Jarrod Bivens, Tyler Bivens, Joshua Bivens, Ryan Bivens and Eli Bivens 

Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, TN. No graveside service is planned.
