Betty Ruth Hannah Revel, age 87, of Henry, TN, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at her residence in Henry, TN.
Betty owned and operated an upholstery shop at her home in Henry. She was a loving mother that loved nature and animals. She was a member of Henry Baptist Church.
Betty was born March 9, 1929 in McKenzie, TN, to the late John Hannah and the late Rachael Burke Hannah. She was married on May 2, 1953, to Joe. H. Revel, who preceded her in death on December 24, 2014.
She is survived by her two sons, Rick Revel of Henry, TN, and Barry (Tammy) Revel of Henry, TN; five grandchildren, Erica (Brian) Cornelison of Jackson, TN, Emily (Nathan) Shoemaker of Jackson, TN, Justin Revel of Henry, TN, Josh Revel of Henry, TN and Scott (Jennifer) Carroll of Paris, TN; and four great-grandchildren, Daniel Carroll, Charly Carroll, Ella Cornelison, and Brian Cornelison Jr..
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her foster parents, Irvin and Anne Brown.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2016. A graveside service will be at Henry City Cemetery at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Jeff Bryant and Paul Conquest will officiate. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will be in Henry City Cemetery.
