Betty Jean Sanders Swor, age 79, of Springville, Tenn., died Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Life Care Center of Bruceton in Bruceton, Tenn.
She was Married to Horace Swor August 6, 1955 and he preceded in death October 13, 2009. Member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She formerly worked as a nurse for Dr. Chesmore and formerly at Holley Carburetor Plant.
She was the daughter of the late Cager Sanders and the late Cessie Hoofman Sanders.
She is survived by her Daughter-Merriann Starzec of Jackson, TN; Four Sons, Mark Swor of Paris, Tenn., Michael "Mikie" Swor of Springville, Tenn., Randy Swor of Springville, Tenn., and Tim (Melissa) Swor of Springville, Tenn.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 26, 2013 and from 9:00 AM to 11 am Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 27, 2013 , Grant Ostrom officiating.
Interment will be at Spring Creek Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
