Betty Jo Paschall age 90 of Puryear died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at her residence.
She owned Countryside Poodles where she groomed dogs for 15 years. Betty was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day saints, who loved genealogy, history, and being with her family. She enjoyed helping her husband on antique cars and working outside in the yard.
Born July 11, 1930, in Puryear, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Paschall and the late Guylar Victoria Alexander.
Betty married James H. “Jim” Paschall December 31, 1950, who preceded her in death May 11, 2006.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Carol (David) Jennings of Paris; son, James Kenneth (Sarah) Paschall of Tomball, TX; a sister, Bobbie Aydelott of Conway, AR; and one grandchild, Lauren (Travis) Haley Mowery of Conroe, TX; one great grandchild, Noah Mowery of Conroe, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bea Rogers.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2020, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at Puryear City Cemetery, with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
If attending the visitation or funeral service, the family requests that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Please do not bring food to the visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of donor’s choice.
