Becky Mcclain

Becky McClain, age 61 of Springville, TN,  died Saturday, December 5, 2020, at her residence.

She retired from HIS in Bruceton, TN, where she worked as a seamstress.  Becky was all about horses and cowboys and loved her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Camden, TN.

Becky was born March 20, 1959, in Henry County, TN, to the late Terry Sanders and Geneva Lambert Whitney, who survives, of Mansfield, TN.

She was married January 17, 1976, to Gary Wayne McClain, who preceded her in death on July 28, 1995.

Along with her mother, she is also survived by her stepmother, Shirley Sanders “Ma” Bennett of Springville, TN; her daughter, Teri (Scotty) McSwain of Springville, TN; her son, Jason (Keicha) McClain of Springville, TN; one sister, Janet (Ricky) French of Springville; two brothers, Ronald (Brooke) Sanders of Mansfield, TN, and Donald (Rachel) Sanders of Mansfield, TN; two stepbrothers, Tony (Cindy) Stepp of Springville, TN, and David (Robin) Stepp of Springville, TN, Billy Whitney, Michael Whitney; and five grandchildren, Kensleigh McSwain, Isaiah McSwain, Lane McClain, Brooklyn McClain, and Ransom McClain; and one great grandson, Nathan McClain.

In addition to her father and husband, she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jaxon McSwain; and her stepfather, Mike Whitney.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with David Gleason officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Stepp, Dale McClain, Randy McClain, Michael McClain, Cody McClain, and Tony Stepp.

Burial will be in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, TN.
