Barbara Jean Collums

Barbara Jean Collums, age 74 of Springville, TN, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She retired from Dana Corporation after several years of work. She attended Russwood Baptist Church and Point Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and puzzles.
Barbara Jean was born October 1, 1942, in Luxora, AR, to the late John Davis LaCombs and the late Lela Childress LaCombs.
She was married October 2, 1964, to Art L. Collums, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2002.
She is survived by four sons, Greg (Mary Anne) Collums of Mansfield, TN, Larry (Kim) Collums of Springville, TN, Barry Collums of Springville, TN, and Mike (Karen) Malone of Helena, AL; one sister, Elizabeth Carmen of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Kristina Malone, Rachel Schepps, David Cole, Kristofer Collums, Courtland Collums, and Josh Collums; and eight great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, with the funeral service at 12:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Bobby Campbell officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
