Barbara Hosford-Tanner

Barbara Hosford-Tanner, age 69 of Henry, TN, died Sunday, April 9, 2023, at her residence.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry, TN.  Barbara enjoyed reading, attending yard sales, cleaning, and cooking.  She loved spending time with her family.

Barbara was born April 14, 1953, in Paris, TN.  

She was married to Bobby Tanner, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her parents, Paul & Betty French Neal of Henry, TN; three children, Shauna Hart of Henry, TN, Matt (Melissa) Hart of Springfield, VA, and Josh (Jessica) Hart of Paris; one sister, Brenda (Jeff) Medlock of Winchester, TN; one brother, Brad (Pam) Hosford of Paris; and eight grandchildren, Sarah Evans, Elizabeth Evans, Gabrielle (Jonathan) Ruiz, Ryan Hart, Benjamin Hart, Amelia Hart, Olivia Hart, and Henry Hart.

She was preceded in death by her birth father, Gene Hosford.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4125 Macedonia Road, Henry, TN 38231.  The funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Eaton officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Hosford, Ryan Hart, Jay Hosford, Slayden Hosford, Aidan Harris, Brendan Morris, Austin Page, and Jaisen Medlock.

Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Henry, TN.
