Aubrey “Dee” O'Neal, age 82, of Henry, Tenn., died Friday, February 19, 2016, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn.
He was member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was the Owner and Operator of O'Neal's Grocery in Henry for many years.
Dee was born March 4, 1933 in Paris, TN to the late Genie O'Neal and the late Cora Belle Holt Crenshaw.
He was first married to Joyce Ann O'Neal and she preceded in death. He married on April 28, 1983 to Janice Ross O'Neal and she survives. He is also survived by his Daughter, Sandra Kay (Pat) Paschall of Puryear, Tenn; two Step Daughters, Tina (Mark) Rawls of Paris, Tenn, and Penny (Jerry) Gallimore of Dresden, Tenn; one Step Son, Jeff Baker of Henry, Tenn; one Sister, Diane (Marvin) Elderbush of Metropolis, Ill; Grandchildren, Steven Snider, Brandon (Jennifer) Bell, Ben (Rachel) Paschall, Justin (Kelly) Rawls, Jarett Rawls, Whitney Rawls, John (Emily) Gallimore, and Jerry (Jesse) Gallimore; Great Grandchildren, Joshua Byars, Bryant Joe Bell, Scarlett Meadows, Jase Gallimore, and Waylon Gallimore; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides his Parents and First Wife, Dee was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Evelyn Sue O'Neal Britt; Sisters, Bertie Mae Walker, and Shirley O'Neal; Brothers, Vodra Eugene O'Neal, Joe Thomas O'Neal, William Randolph O'Neal, James Robert O'Neal, and Euil B. O'Neal; and Grandson, Michael Shawn Wade.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Monday, February 22, 2016 and from 11 am – 2 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
Kevin Gallimore and Paul Bud Merwin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steven Snider, Brandon Bell, Ben Paschall, Justin Rawls, Jarett Rawls, Whitney Rawls, John Gallimore, and Jerry Gallimore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gordon Ray McFadden, Ricky O’Neal, Robert Bullion, Gerald Lowery and Gene Lankford.
Interment will be at Henry City Cemetery in Henry, Tenn.
