Arthur Ben Evans

Arthur Ben Evans, age 88 of Selmer, TN, formerly of Henry County, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.
Ben was a Baptist and he enjoyed Kentucky Fried Chicken, drinking Dr. Pepper, fishing, and going to watch wrestling.
Born April 28, 1928, in Big Sandy, TN, he was the son of the late Freeman Evans and the late Kadrah Mae Johnson Evans.
He is survived by one sister, Hazel Chamness of Paris, TN; several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Brenda Pierce and Roy Ward and their family of Selmer, TN.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Wynell Dewey, and Retha Jean Hudgins; two brothers, Thomas Gerald Evans, and Everette Glenn Evans.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where the visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 11 – 1. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Brandon Chamness officiating.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Methodist Cemetery in Paris.
