Arlon "Ac" Williams

Arlon Clifton “A.C.”  Williams, age 88 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Town Square Care of Puryear in Puryear, TN.

A.C. was Methodist.  He was a retired truck driver from Roadway Express.  He loved the outdoors and especially fishing, hunting and camping.  A jack of all trades, he enjoyed restoring old cars and raising hunting dogs.

Born December 20, 1928 in Paris, TN, he was the son of the late Clifton David Williams and the late Ruby Wright Williams.

A.C. was formerly married to Hazel O. Williams for 45 years and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by three daughters, Gail Williams, Nancy Cargill and Linda Williams all of Paris, TN;  five grandchildren, Kimberly Lynn Serrano, Todd Clifton Williams, Jasen Douglas Williams, Michael J. (Megan) Higgins, and Joshua Alton Stanfill;  ten great grandchildren,  Marisa Bernal, Ryan Bernal, Storm Serrano , Colt Serrano, Blaze Williams, Starlee Williams, Ava Higgins, Aiden Higgins, Ashton Higgins, and Anderson Higgins; and a great nephew, Michael Odom.

Besides his parents and former wife, A.C. was also preceded in death by one sister, Modena Odom; one brother, Leon Williams; and one grandson, Michael Wayne Williams.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where his visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm and Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30 am.  The service will be Graveside at Antioch Cemetery at 11:00 am Thursday, December 21, 2017 with Brian Wimberley officiating.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Springville, TN.
