Antonia Calderon

Antonia Calderon age 80 of Henry, died Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

Antonia was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting blankets, loved dancing, flowers, and gardening. She was Catholic in faith.

She married Ismael Hernandez Carreon December 24, 1956, and he survives of Henry, TN.

Born January 17, 1940, in Morcillo, Durango, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Calderon and the late Isabel Gonsalez Lopez.

Along with her husband, Antonia is survived by nine children, Olivia Hernandez Calderon of Henry, Oralia Hernandez Calderon of Mexico, Jose Santos Hernandez Calderon (Patricia Jimenez)  of Mexico, Jose Issac Hernandez Calderon (Alicia Rodriguez)  of Mexico, Ismael Hernandez Calderon (Juana Hernandez) of Henry, TN, Maria Sara Hernandez Calderon (Antonio Cortes) of San Antonio, TX, Moises Hernandez Caldron (Claudia Diaz) of Mexico, Adan Hernandez Calderon (Maria Carman Rodriguez) of Henry, and Antonia Isabel Hernandez Calderon (Enrique Arjon) of Henry; 34 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Ismael Hernandez Calderon and Mireya Hernandez Calderon; a sister and three brothers.

Her family members will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2020, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held Friday, September 25, 2020, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Martin Orjianioke officiating.

Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery in McKenzie, TN.
