Anna Christine Hinton

Anna Christine Hinton, age 88 of McKenzie, TN, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her residence in McKenzie, TN.

She retired after 20 years as the dietary supervisor of Oak Manor Nursing Home.  She was a member of Henry United Methodist Church in Henry, TN.  Christine enjoyed gardening and feeding her family at family dinners.  She also enjoyed quilting and making quilts for newborns and newlywed family members.

Christine was born May 17, 1930, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Thomas Newton Love and the late Nettie Arlene Thompson Love.

She was married February 9, 1946, to Raymond Lynn Hinton, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2009.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Chinery of Spring Hill, TN, Doris (Larry) Blackman of McKenzie, TN, and Barbara (John) Campbell of Mt. Olive, MS; three sons, Ron (Julia) Hinton of McKenzie, TN, James (Angie) Hinton of Paris, TN, and David (Dee Dee) Hinton of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Angela (Kelly) McNabb of Hazel Green, AL, Erica (Josh) Neighbours of Hendersonville, TN, Matthew (Brandi) Hinton of Burlington, NC, Mason (Sarah) Hinton of Obion, TN, Christopher Hinton of McKenzie, TN, and Christina (Chris) Bateman of Obion, TN; five great grandchildren, Kayla McNabb, Madeline Neighbours, Josie McNabb, Archer Neighbours, and Loralei Hinton; two step grandchildren, Clover Paradise and Mandy Luka; and two step great grandchildren, Ozzy Barlic and AJ Dias.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Sasser, Mary Love, and Carolyn Love; and one brother, Thomas Love.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Tom Smith and Rev. Tammy Blankenship officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly McNabb, Erica Neighbours, Matthew Hinton, Mason Hinton, Christopher Hinton, and Christina Bateman.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
