The funeral service for homemaker and former carburetor plant employee Anna Clorice Lancaster Wimberly of Paris will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Roger Banks will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Todd, Cory and Brooks Wimberly, Paul Cirrincone, Kevin Lancaster and Bryan Russell.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and an hour before the service Saturday.
Wimberly, 90, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Benchmark Healthcare in Puryear.
Born March 14, 1923, in Model, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Melissa Howell Lancaster.
She was married on March 28, 1941, to Joe Will Wimberly, who died March 18, 2012.
Wimberly was a member of East Wood Church of Christ. She worked at Holley carburetor plant and was a homemaker for many years.
She leaves one daughter: Carole Wimberly Cirricone of Chicago; one son: Brian Wimberly of Jackson; a daughter-in-law: Cindy Wimberly of Chicago; two brothers: Lynn (Judy) Lancaster and Gordon (Linda) Lancaster, both of Paris; two sisters-in-law: Lavinia Woodrick of Murray and Verna Lou (Bruce) Thomas of Detroit;
Seven grandchildren: Todd Wimberly of Paris, P.J. (Adrienne) Cirrincone and Maria (Kevin) Martin, both of Chicago, Cory Wimberly of Puryear, Michael Wimberly of Fort Campbell, Missy Wimberly of Hardin, Ky., and Virgil (Megan) Wimberly of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two sons: Gary and Steve Wimberly; and a brother: Larue “Bitsy” Lancaster.
