Anna Waynick

Anna Marie Waynick, age 60, of Buchanan, TN, died Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

Anna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Amvets and the American Legion and she formerly worked at the American Legion.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  Anna loved life and was a mother to all.

She was born November 14, 1956 in Muskegon, MI.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clare Edwin Rose; mother, Shirley Ann Casler Rose; and step father, Clarence “Skippy” Jewett.

Anna was married on February 11, 1996 to Gerald Lee Waynick and he survives of Buchanan, TN.   She is also survived by one daughter, Melissa (Kirk) Nergard of Buchanan, TN; two sons, Justin Johnson and fiancée Hope Houston of Paris, TN, and Alan Merritt of Buchanan, TN;  two step-sons, Adam (Sarah) Waynick of Atlanta, GA, and Randall (Cathie) Waynick of West Palm Beach, FL;  two sisters, Deborah Tadlock of Muskegon, MI, and Tammy Duffman of Shelbyville, IN;  two brothers, Ardie Rose of Muskegon, MI, and John Jewett, Sr. of Fruitport, MI;  several step-sisters and step brothers; and four grandchildren, Charles Berberette, Hunter Nergard, Cambria Waynick, and Paisley Johnson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Her body is to be cremated.  There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the Amvets Post 45, 14335 Highway 79 North, Buchanan, TN 38222.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Security Bank in her memory after the memorial fund is set up on Friday February 10, 2017.
