Ann Martin, age 74 of Cottage Grove, TN, died Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
She was a homemaker and a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church. Ann loved knitting, crocheting, puzzles, and reading love stories. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Ann was born February 17, 1946, in Paris, TN, to the late John Lee “J.L.” Emmons and the late Virginia Gossett Emmons.
She was married September 3, 1972, to James Thomas “Rooster” Martin, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ann (Chuck) Woessner of Murray, KY; one brother, Johnny (Sarah Luffman) Emmons of Paris; four grandchildren, Jaygen Woessner, Isabella Woessner, Kaylee Woessner, and Kenny Woessner; two nieces, Amber Emmons Friel and Magnolia Emmons; one nephew, Bill Emmons; several great nieces and great nephews; and her friend and caregiver whom she loved, Rebecca Howell of Cottage Grove, TN.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Model Emmons; one brother, J.W. Emmons; and one niece, Julie Emmons.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
