Anita Michael

Anita Carol Michael, age 66 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Paris, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

She worked for many years in billing and coding.  She enjoyed shopping, watching her TV shows, and being home with family.

Anita was born March 27, 1956, in Paris, TN, to the late James Fitzhugh Jackson and the late Mary Helen Oliver Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Simmonds of Murfreesboro, TN; two sons, Boone (Jennifer) Michael of Puryear, TN, and Jeremiah (Doree) Blount of Dickson, TN; one sister, Debbie (Gary) Elkins of Buchanan, TN; one brother, (Lawrence (Amy Rose) Jackson of Paris; and two grandchildren, Killian Blount and Alex Akin.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, William “Poochie” Jackson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with a time of sharing to begin at 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
