The funeral service for homemaker Alice Elrita Scarbrough of Paris is scheduled at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Otis Hinton will officiate, with burial follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Nephews have been chosen as pallbearers.
Visitation is planned from 6-8 p.m. today and two hours before the service Tuesday.
Scarbrough, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Paris Healthcare Center.
Born in Paris on April 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John David and Mable Williams Buchanan.
She was married on Oct. 2, 1949, to O.C. Scarbrough, who died July 14, 2002.
Scarbrough was a member of Temple Baptist Church. A family member said she enjoyed boating on Kentucky Lake, working in the yard and tending her flowers.
She leaves one son: Randy Scarbrough of Paris; one sister: Carolyn (Johnny) Williams of Springville; a half sister: Ranee Buchanan of Paris; a half brother: David Buchanan of New York;
Thirteen nieces and nephews: Pam (Rusty) Robison, John (Vonda) Williams, Kim (Tom) Wilson, Ray Adams, Ronnie (Janet) Adams, Vic (Lesa) Adams, Joanna (Jessie) Bevill, Joyce (Dale) Morie, Rita Page, Tommy (Alice) Scarbrough, Jerry (Jennifer) Scarbrough, Jimmy (Naomi) Scarbrough and Kenny (Ramona) Scarbrough; a special caregiver: Amber Gibson of Paris; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Ricky Scarbrough; and a sister: Betty Dyer.
