Albert D. Bidwell, Jr

Albert D. Bidwell Jr., age 77 of Springville, TN, died June 26, 2021, at AHC of McKenzie, TN.

He retired after 24 years as a 1st Sergeant in the US Army, who served as a combat engineer. Albert was a member Shriner of the Scottish Rights Knights Templar, the American Legion Post 089 in Paris, Paris Masonic Lodge, and GWRRA Motorcycle Chapter in Clarksville, TN. He loved riding his Honda Goldwing and loved his wife and family.

Albert was born May 3, 1944, in Pineville, Louisiana, to the late Albert Donald Bidwell Sr., and to the late Dorothy Louise Jones Bidwell.

He married on July 25, 1997, to Cynthia Jane Longest Bidwell, who survives of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is survived two daughters, Brandy (James) Bristol of New York, and Becky Hardy of New York; three sons, Patrick Schofell of New York, Greg Bidwell of Florida, and Michael Bidwell of Waverly, TN; two sisters Cindy Waddyll of Kansas City, MO, Joyce Bidwell of Kansas City, MO; 9 grandchildren, one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bidwell.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN. Memorial Visitation will be July 3, 2021, from 11am to 2pm, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The body is to be cremated following the visitation.
