Albert Houston

Al Houston, age 86 of Puryear, TN died Sunday April 12, 2015 at his residence in Puryear, TN.

He was married to Joan Lynne Anderson Houston December 26, 1958 and she survives.    He was a Baptist and retired from Vortox Company in Claremont, CA and he loved bowling.

He was born August 30, 1928 in Mansfield, TN to the late Roscoe Tillman Houston and Bertha Carroll Houston.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by Son, Gary Lynn Houston of Puryear, TN;  Sister, Margueritta Cosolo of Victorville, CA;  Brothers,  Robert (Marsha) Houston of Victorville, CA,  Doug (Bryce) Houston of Victorville, CA,  and Willie (Caron) Houston of Smyrna, TN;  Grandchildren,  Morgan (Jeremy) Hartsfield, Seth Crouch, and A.J. Houston; and Great Grandchild, Bentley Daniel Hartsfield.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN where the visitation will be Tuesday April 21, 2015 from 4 – 7 pm and Wednesday April 22, 2015 from 10 am – 1 pm.   The Funeral Service will be LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Wednesday April 22, 2015.

Chad Kennedy will officiate, burial will follow Rose Lawn Memory Garden.
