Agnes Mann Wilson

Agnes Mann Wilson, age 91 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center.

She worked as the receptionist for the former Chesmore Clinic in Paris, along with several other local businesses.  She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  Agnes volunteered as a “Pink Lady” with the Henry County Medical Center Auxiliary.  She enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, and loved spending time with family.

Agnes was born September 5, 1932, in Cottage Grove, TN, to the late E.K. Mann and the late Eva Holden Mann.

She was married October 12, 1951, to Herman Grant Wilson, who preceded her in death on September 30, 2008.

She is survived by four children, Debby (Reggie) Hughes of Old Hickory, TN, Mike (Jan) Wilson of Paris, TN, Craig (Lynn Sanders) Wilson of Paris, TN, and Tony Wilson of Milan, TN; one sister, Barbara McSwain of Paris, TN; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Mann of Paris, TN; six grandchildren, Lisa (Bobby Evans) Wilson, Brian (Leigh Beth) Wilson, Lauren Wilson, Brad Hughes, Doug Hughes, and Crystal (Lee) Alexander; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Peden and Dorothy Hartman; four brothers, Jimmy Mann, John Mann, R.D. “Shorty” Mann, and Paul Mann; and one grandson, Robert Wilson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  A graveside service & burial will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Walker Cemetery in Paris, TN, with Jess Hedges officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
