Adam Scott Iii

Adam Marley Scott, III, age 75, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, December 23, 2013, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

He was married in 1984 to Judy Wakefield Scott and she survives.

Adam was a  US Army veteran and formerly an active  volunteer with TN State Guard.  He was a Mason and Shriner and Former Chairman of the Board of Education in Lauderdale County TN.

He was the son of the late Adam Scott and the late Mary Griffin Scott.

He is also survived by One Daughter, Rebecca Scott of Ripley, Tenn; Two Sons, Jonathan (Jennifer) Trosper of Paris, Tenn,  Clint (Nita) Trosper of Fairbanks, Alaska; Two Sisters, Mary Marley (Robert) Pipkin of Ripley, Tenn,  Elizabeth (John) Turner of Memphis, Tenn; and grandchildren, Marley, Jack, Austin, Morgan and Parker Trosper.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.  The funeral service will be Graveside at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, TN at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 26, 2013.

Rev. Jolinne Downey will officiate.

Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Tenn.
