Aaron Dobbs Jr., age 67 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, due to complications from a recent accident at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1949 in Tokyo, Japan to the late Aaron Dobbs Sr., and the late Joy Randle Dobbs.
Aaron grew up in Paris, TN, where he was well known in his hometown as a person who served the community and tried to help those in need. He was also a faithful member of Quinn Chapel AME Church. He joined the U.S. Army in 1974, and served two tours in the Republic of Vietnam as well as other military stations.
He is survived by one daughter, Danielle R. Dobbs of Hermitage, TN; one son, Aaron H. Dobbs; two brothers, Steven Dobbs of Hermitage, TN, and James L. Hartsfield of Paris, TN; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special friend and caregiver Dorothy Clark of Paris, TN.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Dobbs; and one brother, Hurley R. Dobbs.
