George Foust

George Henry Foust, age 88, of Big Sandy, Tenn., died Monday, August 1, 2016, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Big Sandy, TN.   He retired after more the 40 years in maintenance with Picksweet Foods in Bells, TN.    He was a US Army Veteran of Korea and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking.

George was born July 21, 1928 in Como, TN to the late Lonnie Eugene Foust and the late Lurene Mann Foust.

He was married on June 2, 2004 to Thelma Pearl Runyon Foust of Big Sandy, TN, and she survives.  He is also survived by his one Daughter, Rita (Billy Joe) Webb of Bells, Tenn;  one Step Daughter, Barbara Mitchell of Stockbridge, Ga;  four Sons, Phillip (Jennie) Foust of Bells, Tenn, David Bruce (Mary) Foust of Medina, Tenn, George Glenn (Phyllis) Foust of Winton, Calif, Darrell Foust of Bells, Tenn; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; two Special Nephews, Darren Keith (Debbie) Foust and Alan Lee (Daphne) Foust; Special Great Nephew, Brock Foust;  and Several other Nieces and Nephews.

Besides his Parents, he was also preceded in death by Sisters, Clara Mae Hopper and Annie Lou Shelby; and Brothers, Murray Lee Foust and Eugene Foust.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 9 – 10 am Friday, August  5, 2016.   The Funeral Service will be Graveside at Chapel Hill Methodist  Cemetery near Huntingdon, TN at 10:30 am Friday, August  5, 2016 with Tim Barker officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jason Foust, Brock Foust, Logan Foust, Jared Foust, Digger Foust and Heath Foust.
