Donald "Don" Hart

Donald Edward “Don” Hart, age 88, of Puryear, TN, died Thursday, January 26, 2017, in Puryear, TN.
Don was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he formerly served as Pastor. His number one objective in life was to preach about the Lord. He was a former commercial fisherman and he loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Don was born January 19, 1929, in Paris, TN, to the late Eddie Bunyan Hart and the late Aleur Eron Barnhill Hart.
He was married on June 22, 1954, to Morine Melton Hart and she preceded in death on January 14, 2013.
He is survived by his one daughter, Debra (Frank) Hart-Crutcher of Puryear, TN; two sons, Danny E. (Deborah) Hart of Puryear, TN, and Ranny E. (Stephanie Ross) Hart of Buchanan, TN; one sister, Francis Hart of Puryear, TN; grandchildren, Josh (Keri) Paschall, Shannon (Terry) Slaughter, Gina (Tom) Thornton, Selina (Mark) Rowland, and Danny (Jamie) Hart II; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Besides his wife and parents, Don was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Hart; sisters, Elsie Freeman, Ruby Carrington, Ida May Jones, Eddie Lee Rogers, Flora Garner, and Sue Aaron Buie; brother, Andrew Franklin Hart; and a grandchild, Leeta Hart.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. -P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017, with Jack Thacker
officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Jackson, Ronnie Burnette, Shannon Slaughter, Danny Hart II, Mark Rowland, and Tom Thornton.
Interment will be in Bevil Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
