Paul Daniel “Danny” Hosford, age 69, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, September 7, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married June 30, 2006 to Brenda Hunter Hosford and she survives.
Danny was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and also served in Germany. Danny was the former parts man at Kubota in Paris, TN. He was an avid U.T. supporter, especially football, and he loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He helped organize the Grove High reunions and Graduated from Grove High School in 1964 where he was an outstanding basketball player. He also formerly played American Legion Baseball.
He was born August 6, 1946 in Murray, Ky to Henrietta West Hosford Watkins of Puryear, TN and the late Frank Paul Hosford.
Besides his wife Brenda and mother Henrietta, he is also survived by his Two Daughters, Shannon (Paul) McCampbell of Murfreesboro, Tenn, Julie Hosford of Elizabethtown, Ky; One Step Son, Tony (Tracy) Lacy of Paris, Tenn; One Brother, Franky (Jan) Hosford of Paris, Tenn; Step Sister, Rita (Randy) Gean of Paris, TN; Step Brother, Jerry Mac (Sue) Watkins of Dover, TN; Grandchildren, Paula (Aaron) Holtzlander, Samantha McCampbell, Felix Cox, Mercedes Cox, Katlyn Caldwell, Hunter Lacy, Brandon Caldwell, and Logan Lacy; and Great Grandchild, Lyric Holtzlander.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and from 11 am – 1 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
John W. Dale will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gaines Hedges, Ronnie Lowe, Johnny Goodner, Donnie Williams, Randy Wimberley, and Ron Moody. The Grove High School Class of 1964 is named as Honorary Pallbearers.
Interment will be at Wofford Cemetery in Dover, Tenn.
